Meet Dr. Talva Grundstrom, DDS
Dr. Talva Grundstrom serves Jefferson City and the surrounding counties with dental excellence. She credits growing up in a military family, where she learned that there is more than one way to accomplish a goal, as a big part of her success. She attended Oklahoma State University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Dr. Grundstrom furthered her education at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated in 1986. She has proudly practiced in Jefferson City for 20 years, and has spent the last five years undergoing extensive training in implant dentistry. Dr. Grundstrom believes that further education is fundamental to achieving her patients' complete satisfaction. She has studied at the Misch Institute, a leading educational center in the field of implant dentistry. She is one of a select group of dentists who practice emergency and hospital dentistry; she feels that this is an additional way she can serve the community.
Dr. Grundstrom maintains her busy practice while serving as a fellow for the International Congress of Oral Implantology. She also maintains memberships as a Doctor of Oral Conscious Sedation, and with the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Misch Implant Institute.
As a single mother of two teenage children, Dr. Grundstrom recognizes the importance of preventative family dentistry, as well as the complexity of trying to balance a hectic family life. She offers dental exams, routine maintenance, and cleanings to all of her patients. She also performs cosmetic and restorative procedures and would be happy to help you create the perfect smile design.
